Letter of Thanks to a WT Driver
WT Headquarters was recently contacted by Bridger, MT resident, Dawna Schwindt to express her deep felt thanks and appreciation to an anonymous WT driver. Schwindt expressed that the drivers’ “quick thinking and steady, responsive driving saved her life and the lives of many others” on Tuesday, May 20th, on Hwy 310 going from Bridger to Billings. She explained that an oncoming car trying to pass almost caused a very serious accident. “There was only a split second for your driver to respond, and to do so in such a safe and professional manner. There was not a swerve, or a bobble, he just trucked with confidence in his equipment and his ability.” Schwindt wants WT’s driver to know how much he is appreciated. She said, “We owe our lives to your driver….I notice the good ones and the bad, but ones that are excellent really stand out. Your trucker is one of the excellent ones.”
All of us at WT would like to thank Dawna Schwindt for expressing her thanks and recognizing the importance of a skilled driver on the road. It’s not unusual for a truck driver to be a hero on the road, but it is unusual to receive such heartfelt thanks. We have so much appreciation for this driver’s sharp awareness of road conditions and quick reaction that saved lives! We recognize the amazing skills of all of WT’s drivers and the incredible job they do of putting safety first each time they are on the road. THANK YOU!
